Murchison Minerals has a highly experienced board, management team, and industry advisors.
With a proven track record for successful discoveries and development of resource projects in Canada’s junior mining sector. From our Executive Chairman, Jean-Charles Potvin, who sold Pangea Goldfields Inc. to Barrick Gold Corporation for CA$204 million in 2000, to Troy Boisjoli – who recently joined Murchison as President and CEO. Troy previously led multiple discoveries and the development at NexGen’s Arrow uranium project. Currently, our leadership team is focused on the the energy metals sector - with the discovery and development of the HPM and BMK projects.

Prior to joining NexGen Energy in 2016, Mr. Boisjoli worked as an exploration geologist for Cameco Corporation on projects throughout northern Saskatchewan and Australia. Troy was also the Chief Geologist at the underground Eagle Point uranium mine, where he led a team that increased the mineral resources threefold while reducing drilling and discovery costs. In addition, while at Eagle Point, Troy led a team that implemented innovative processes that led to improved grade control, production reconciliation and short-range and life of mine planning.
Mr. Boisjoli holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin, as well as a geoscience license with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan.











Governance
Murchison Minerals (the “Company”) has assembled a qualified and experienced board of directors (the “Board”) to ensure effective management of the Company and the protection of its shareholders. The Board fulfills its responsibilities directly and indirectly through its committees at regularly scheduled meetings or as required. At present, the Board committees consist of the Audit Committee and the Compensation Committee with the Board performing the functions of a Nominating Committee at this stage of the Company’s development.

Mr. Shmyr graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science High Honours degree in geology and is currently completing a Master of Science degree in geology on the Brabant-McKenzie deposit at the University of Saskatchewan. He is registered as a member of the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan and currently holds a special authorization with the Ordre des Géologues du Québec.
